Van Loan School at Endicott College Holds First Separate Commencement Ceremony; First PhD Students to Graduate
The evening of Thursday, May 18th marks a special occasion and two firsts in the history of Endicott College. Starting at 6:00 p.m., the Van Loan School at Endicott for the first time will host a commencement ceremony exclusively for its adult education students who are graduating with associate’s, bachelors, master’s and doctoral degrees.

A feature-length documentary about the plight of cod fishermen in Gloucester, filmed by Endicott College professor Steve Liss, will air nationally on the Discovery Channel on Thursday, April 13, at 9pm EST.

Evaluation as Learning: Program Evaluation & Research Group at Endicott College Celebrates 40 Years
The Program Evaluation and Research Group (PERG) is celebrating its 40th anniversary at an event on March 28th at Endicott College. Founded in 1976 by two professors at Lesley College (now University) in Cambridge, MA, the group moved to Endicott in 2013.

Endicott Athletics Unveils Addition To Post Center Facility
Endicott College Director of Athletics Brian Wylie has announced plans to upgrade the Post Center Facility through an addition to the current building that will enhance the overall student-athlete experience, improve opportunities for the School of Sport Science and Fitness Studies, and modernize the MacDonald Gymnasium.

Endicott Students Grow As Leaders During Weekend Retreat
While LIGHThouse has been on campus since 2010, its popularity has continued to grow – mainly due to the annual LIGHThouse retreat. Held each fall at Camp Cody in Freedom, NH, the retreat is a three-day “escape” from campus where students remove themselves from all social media and electronics.

Endicott College Launching Unmanned Sailboat Out of Gloucester in Joint Innovation and Technology Project
The Ginger Judge, named after a benefactor and alum of Endicott College, Ginger Judge ’51, will be part of the Atlantic Regatta and will be placed far out to sea to be propelled by wind and current. The small but sturdy craft is in a class of vessels known as educational drifters.

Ndaba Mandela, Grandson of Nelson Mandela, to speak at Endicott College
On Thursday, February 16th at 6:00 p.m., Ndaba Mandela will speak in the Wax Academic Center Auditorium at Endicott College. Ndaba is the grandson of South African anti-apartheid revolutionary, politician and philanthropist Nelson Mandela.
