More than 500 Gulls Turn Out To Discover Employment Opportunities at 2017 Internship & Career Fair

On Tuesday, February 28th the Internship and Career Center hosted its annual Internship & Career Fair. The Post Center was filled to capacity with 90 companies offering internships and full-time opportunities across a wide range of industries. More than 500 Gulls came out to connect and establish relationships with these companies – our best student turnout yet! 
Four organizations generously provided sponsorship of this year’s event - AFC Urgent Care, Black Diamond Network, Electric Insurance and Northwestern Mutual. While many familiar employer partners were on-hand, several new employers joined this year’s fair including, John Hancock, Vineyard Vines, CarGurus, Kimpton Hotels, Nielsen Sports and Reveneer.
Directly following the fair, in conjunction with the Van Loan School, the Internship and Career Center held its first Veteran's Networking Reception. Student veterans met with employers from the US Department of Homeland Security, US Customs and Border Protections, Americorps, Rochester Electronics, Beverly Hospital and more.
Employers exhibiting shared excellent feedback, such as: “Endicott Students are always well prepared!”; “Best fair to date!”; High volume of qualified prepared students” and “Wonderful event! Plan to be back.” Thank you to all of the companies that participated – your time and interest is greatly appreciated!
The success of the fair would not have been possible without the collaboration and help we received from the Endicott College community: the administration, faculty, staff, Internship and Career Center team and Internship Coordinators did an amazing job of promoting the event and preparing our students to put their best foot forward. We look forward to another successful Fair in 2018!
