A Personal Tour of the American Civil War
Ryan Curley ’23 M’24 has a passion for American history, which recently led him down a Civil War rabbit hole after spotting an old gravesite in his hometown cemetery. Enlisting the help of an Endicott Trustee, historians, and connections from the internet, Curley embarked on a quest to unravel the personal histories of two soldiers, Lucius Carver and Allyne Litchfield, bridging past and present in his exploration of America’s most divided era.
