President's Corner: Spring 2026
In my first months as President, I’ve spent a great deal of time listening.
Listening to students talk about the moments that changed them; some in the classroom through the mentorship of faculty who challenge and inspire them, and others through internships, on teams, and in the spaces where learning becomes real. Listening to faculty whose passion for teaching and scholarship shapes those moments every day. Listening to staff who keep this place moving forward with care and commitment. Listening to alumni and donors whose belief in Endicott has helped us arrive at where we are today, and who will also help us get to where we go next.
What I’ve heard, again and again, is pride in this institution, in its people, and in the unmistakable energy that defines life at the Nest.
Our energy is contagious, and our momentum is hard to miss.
Across campus, our students are engaging with their work, one another, and the world beyond in powerful new ways. The continued evolution of the Endicott Experiential Edge is expanding opportunities for hands-on, career-connected learning. Just as importantly, we’re seeing more of our students take initiative, launching businesses, pursuing ambitious internships, and doing the hard, meaningful work of bringing their ideas to life.
Our alumni remain a vital part of this story. You carry the Endicott experience with you long after you leave Beverly, and so many of you continue to strengthen this community through your time, talent, and generosity. At a time when the value of higher education is often debated, your stories, and the lives you’ve built since leaving the Nest, remain one of the most powerful reminders of what an Endicott education makes possible.
Endicott’s strength has always come from its people and from a shared willingness to evolve while staying true to who we are. That balance between tradition and transformation will guide us as we look ahead. This spring, we began the early stages of a strategic planning process that will draw on voices from across the Endicott community and culminate this fall in a vision that will help shape the College’s next decade.
We will continue to invest in academic programs that reflect the needs of a changing world. We will deepen our commitment to student success and well-being. We will strengthen the connections between our campus and the communities we serve. And we will do so with the same spirit we have since 1939.
I began this role with a commitment to listen. That commitment remains, but it is now paired with an equally strong sense of purpose.
Together, we will build on this momentum and continue to move Endicott forward thoughtfully, ambitiously, and always in service of our students.
With gratitude,

Bryan Cain, Ph.D.
President
