Profile

Dr. Ober is a marine ecologist interested in understanding how climate change impacts marine ecosystems and organisms. He has several on-going projects both in the lab and in the field, they range from tracking changes in invertebrate and seaweed communities along the shore to quantifying thermal performance of shellfish. He teaches a wide variety of courses in both Environmental Science and Biology and Biotechnology, and keeps an active research lab, supported by undergraduate students.
