Program Overview
Endicott’s digital journalism program produces storytellers who are passionate about building upon traditional journalistic skills through the constantly-changing lens of digital media.
Coursework will explore the history and contemporary landscape of multimedia journalism. Students will explore specialized topics such as broadcast journalism, sports and beat reporting, and journalistic ethics. Through experiential learning opportunities, students have the opportunity to explore different areas of digital journalism firsthand in order to determine their career focus.
The impact that journalism has on society, from both historical and current perspectives, is central to this concentration. Digital journalism students may choose to seek careers in print media, broadcasting, online publishing, podcasting and public relations.
